I had a great experience with them. They went above and beyond to help me and fix things that my insurance wouldn't cover. I now have the brightest head lights on the road, I get flashed bright lights all the time with just my regular lights on. They updated me the whole process and got my envoy done very quick. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone. Thank you.

I had a great experience with American Auto body. They kept me informed the whole time as I waited on my parts to arrive. Cherish was very friendly and communicated with me on any changes and everything involving my service. They put the parts on pretty quickly. I really am very impressed with the way they handled everything and the mechanics did an amazing job putting my baby back together. I would highly recommend them. And I thank them for helping me through this whole process. Sincerely Elizabeth Townsend.

I highly recommend American Auto Body. I recently had major repairs needed after an accident and they did an outstanding job, kept me fully informed with any part delays, coordinated with State Farm and Enterprise Rental, and made sure all was working perfectly before releasing the vehicle. I will definitely use them again if it’s ever necessary.

Great people. Awesome work

Honest hard working family owned business.

This business is the gold standard for how an auto body shop should be run

I just picked up my car this afternoon and cannot say enough about this company's professionalism. From the beginning to the end nothing but top-notch service. They were easy to contact, easy to deal with, explained everything in detail, fixed my car very quickly and the job was perfect. To top it off my car was cleaned and detailed. I will highly recommend them to everyone I know.

They're very professional. Do great work and stand behind they're work 💯%. They break it down into simple language. Very friendly, too. I would recommend them to anyone. Have had 4 body repairs done there after wildlife hit my vehicles. Even after the last one, there was something a little off. Brought it back in and they went over it again. Found the problem and fixed it at no extra cost. They stand completely behind all their work. If you need any body work done and you're close to Port Charlotte, they are the best.

Great honest service!

Fantastic auto body shop with quality repairs, customer care, and great employees willing to do and it takes.

They are very good. They are very busy but well worth wait. A friendly staff.

This company is amazing. They are very organized and professional. My car as ready when I was told it would be ready. Employees are very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about their work. I was impressed with this business!

Two thumbs up to the entire staff at American Auto Body. My 2015 Altima was nearly totaled out and $10,000 worth of damage later...... they took care of me! I had my car back in literally 8 days. Phenomenal job guys and girls!!!! I have no idea how they exceeded my expectations! Especially coming from a very picky woman. Lol. The receptionist was very happy and helpful everytime we spoke , she kept me up to date the entire time. I highly recommend them.

Did excellent work on my Hyundai.

A respectable and professional place to repair your vehicle.

From start to finish they did an exceptional job ,,,customer service 10+,,, job done on time,,,, Great price ,,,highly recommended!!!

Insurance company recommended for collision repair. Took a while to get an appointment, but once in they were very professional, good communication, and the car looked like new when I got it back.

The owner Jason is a great guy-- have had my stang there twice now for paint and bodywork. His crew is top notch and my car always comes back cleaner than when I had brought it to him. If you need any body repair work or paint work there is no better in the area of SWFL. Always have had my car back when he said it would be done.

Had door panel repaired 3 years ago. Perfect then, still perfect. Very happy with quality of work.

Today was my appointment for the estimate on the hurricane damage repairs. Jason was thorough with the inspection. My Ford Econoline Van has been repaired at this shop before when an electric pole fell on it.... and it was a great job. This time, Hurricane Ian tore it up...

After being in my accident I knew the only person I would take it to. Rob at American Auto Body did an amazing job getting my car back together. Thank you AAB for taking the time to do it right.

Used American Auto body to repair front end damage on my 2001 Mustang Cobra. My car was in perfect condition before someone did a hit and run. When I got the car back it looked brand new. I keep going outside to look at it as the job was unbelievable. The price was more then reasonable, the scheduling and service Professional and the results just plain excellent. I attached pictures I am not a photographer they’re the best I could do I assure you the don’t do the work or the car justice.

Excellent service. My car needed repair after damage from something that fell off a trailer on the Hwy. 2 day turn around time and looks like new again. Excellent!

I love this place. They are always so helpful and professional. Never rude or disrespectful, I've had 3 different cars 🚗worked on here. Recommend them blindly.

Great bodyshop

Did an awesome job on my 2021 Toyota Tundra. Turn around time was a week. Truck came out perfect .

Great place with a freindly staff recieved a appointment in a timely manner. Considering a hurricane raved our state.

Finally. A business that makes life easier by being professional, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommended.

Awesome...very professional and kind...did a wonderful job

They did a very nice job matching my metallic paint on my vehicle after I met with a power pole!!! My truck looks like new plus they detailed the cab! A really professional and courteous add on. Thank you for your hard work!!

As others have said, top-notch. Easy to deal with, care about their work. I would not hesitate to be a repeat customer.

Christian was incredible!! Trustworthy, honest, reliable, and dependable!! Would definitely recommend for all your auto repair needs!

Just picked up my vehicle today. I dropped it off on Monday and it was repaired and ready for pickup on Thursday. This is an amazing body shop. I was in the insurance business for many years and dealt with many different body shops over the years. They go above and beyond on their service and their workmanship is exemplary. They even had my vehicle washed. Awesome experience!

Had to have my car fixed due to an accident. The repair was done in a timely manner and came out excellent. I would highly recommend this place if u need any paint and body work. They do an amazing job.

American Auto Body repaired and painted one door that was damaged by someone who hit my door when opened their's. Beautiful job! Replaced pin stripping and feathered paint to match paint on whole side of car. Super easy process, start to finish. They worked hand in hand with other drivers insurance Co. Would definitely go there again!

I was rear ended in a hit & run and my insurance company recommended American Auto Body. I’m so glad we chose them! It was such a stressful situation for me but they were wonderful from start to finish. They took their time to explain everything, answered all my questions, and got my van in quickly. They communicated everything, how the process was going & how long it would take. When an issue arose later, they immediately took care of it and went above & beyond. They’ve been nothing but friendly and professional. My van looked brand new when they were finished. Hopefully we won’t need their services any time soon, but if we do, this is the only place we will go and recommend to others.

Jason (the owner) and his staff are fantastic. Top quality work and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them for your needs.

They are really helpful 🚘🚘

The work was detailed, prompt and the office was friendly. 5 stars

Awsome

All I have to say is, wow! Thank you for making it look back to factory specs and getting the job done in such a timely manner! I strongly recommend American Auto Body!

I just had my 2017 Altima repaired through insurance at this shop. They did a FANTASTIC job! They were not only professional, but had literally everything arranged for me upon drop off of my vehicle to pick up. The new rear bumper was replaced and the pearl white paint job is great! Everything blends perfectly! Thank you guys so much!

Excellent staff and auto body repair.

Car looks brand new.

Seamless work!

I am from out of state and was in an accident. Jason was able to fit me in and repair enough so it was drivable and I was able to get back home. I was highly pleased with them able to keep to my time table and the repair was excellently done. Highly recommend.

American Autobody did a fantastic job with repairing my car after I wrecked it. They communicated very well with me and went into detail how they were gonna fix my car. THEY CUT NO CORNERS!!! My car looks even better than before I wrecked it and they have my business if I ever need them in the future! Pics are after and before.

Great communication, turn around time for repair on car and quality repair work. Would definitely recommend to any friend for car collision repair!

Very friendly and fast service

No one likes to have body work done on a vehicle "BUT" if the need ever arises this is the place to go. Local owners and employees who take pride in their work.

There are some skills that are worth learning...patch a hole in the wall, wire a new switch, or change out a faucet, because you can master them and they will occur often enough for you to be able to do them yourself.Auto body repair is just not one of those.  You really don't expect you are going to need to do it, and you wouldn't have to do it often enough to get good at it.  That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it.Jason and his crew at American Autobody are PROFESSIONALS! PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!I found American Autobody the best way I knew how, I asked the owner of the muffler shop doing work on the car,  "where would you go..."    "American Autobody.....ask for Jason, he's the owner."   I found the muffler shop the same way, and those types of recommendations never disappoint.I would like to recommend that you stop in at American Autobody and talk to Jason, Vanessa, and Shane and see if you don't really get the feeling that "Yeah...this is where I want to bring my work, and these are the people I want to deal with."Great Job Crew!  I really enjoy seeing that shiny new paint every morning!Tom

Jason is great! I’ve had my vehicle worded on serval times at American Autobody. Always looked great and clean, upon pick up. Professional and honest work. Best in town!

Best Auto Body center. Always had great service. The owner is kind and considerate. Best service I have ever had for auto body work in 55 years!

Great people and good, quick service

Excellant service with quality workmanship.

Excellent customer service and quick turn around.

Great work!...and good service

They did an incredible job and I couldn't be happier. I had a bad experience with another shop and incredibly thankful I brought my truck to them instead. They are a true mom and pop style shop that actually looks out for their customers not the insurance company.

Years ago I was in wreck and they completely renovated my BMW back to life. Today, I walked in and was greeted by a friendly face who helped me get a same day appointment for a scratch on my passenger door. I love how transparent this company is. Their rates are posted right when you walk in, so there are no surprises. As well as the great work that they do. Would definitely recommend!

Took my car in after a hit and run and they made my car look like nothing ever happened, very fast too !

They did great work and were done very fast. Thank you. ✌🇺🇸

Unfortunately, my 2009 Mercury Mariner was in an accident. Referred by my insurance company "Progressive", I dropped it off at American Auto Body after they had ordered all parts needed to repair. They had to replace the whole front end, plus hidden damages underneath. I took it in on a Monday & was told it would be done Friday. They called Thursday afternoon to let me know it was ready for me to pick it up! WOW, BEAUTIFUL job they did. I'm totally impressed & THANK YOU to all who worked on my vehicle, it looks brand new!!!!!!! GREAT job to all at American Auto Body. And I thank Josh, my adjuster with Progressive for referring me to this body shop & handling my claim professionally & and on a timely manner. I'M HAPPY with the results!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently had to take my vehicle to American Auto Body after an accident, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Navigating the insurance claim process can be daunting, but the team at American Auto Body will made it seamless. They handled all the paperwork with my insurance company efficiently, keeping me informed every step of the way. I was amazed at how fast they completed the repairs while maintaining exceptional quality. My car was ready in no time, and it looked fantastic! The staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about ensuring I was satisfied with the service. If you ever find yourself in need of auto body repairs, I highly recommend American Auto Body. They truly go above and beyond!

I have had my Toyota and previous car (Honda) over to Jason at American Auto Body and have had nothing but pleasant experiences! This is a family owned business and they really worked with me. They are honest and that is VERY important these days! I recommend everyone I know to them and they have had very positive things to say about them as well! So if you need auto body work I highly recommend these guys!!

I was extremely happy with the professionalism and patience of Jason and his staff as they worked thru time delays and frustrating moments with my insurance company. The work done was excellent. I highly recommend American Auto Body to everyone!

Communication ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Workmanship ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend this shop I have been here twice with two different cars and both time I had an excellent experience.

Jason and his team are absolutely exceptional. Personally myself and our company with over 35 fleet vehicles have delt with this company for well over 20 years. Never have been disappointed. We will always recommend them!

Fast estimate from this modern repair facility

These guys did a great job fixing my car vua a Progressive insurance claim. Kept it super simple, quicker then I would have thought, and car looks great again.

Great job and prompt customer service. Thanks guys!......and gals.

Best Auto Body Shop in Port Charlotte! Hands down.

They were very friendly and helpful!

Years ago, my brand new 2012 Kia Forte was sideswiped in a parking lot just three weeks after I bought it. Figures, right? Well, I brought it to American auto body, referred through my insurance company, and they did a fantastic job fixing it. It is 2018 now, and you still cannot tell that the car had ever been in an accident. About a month ago I backed into a parking pole of some kind and really messed up the rear end of my wife’s 2007 Toyota Camry. I brought it to American auto body, was pleased with the reasonable estimate, and they made it look like a million bucks. I also had them re-finish the hood because the paint faded away from the Florida sun light. You cannot tell the difference in paint color between the fenders, bumper and the hood. Another fantastic job by American auto body, whom I would recommend to anyone.

Painted our truck, fantastic job

Took my wagoneer in for a repair/estimate that was handled quickly and professionally. They had to remove several parts to determine what was needed, and upon finding out there would be a backorder on parts, they called me since it was drivable and had my vehicle back together later that day so that I could pick it up and drop off my rental. Excellent customer service. Am returning today as they have my parts now and will update when completed. Picked up my vehicle and it was in mint condition. Excellent repair work. Can't tell there was ever any damage. Great detail work. Would recommend to anyone.

American Auto Body did an excellent job repairing our 2011 FJ Cruiser. The car was immaculately clean, inside and out, when we picked it up. Great job!

Did a great job on my car and they completed very fast

A job well done. Completed as promised.

They did a fantastic job on my Nissan Murano that was damaged from Ian.. VERY NICE WORK 👍👍👍

Super people

They did a great job on a hood dent I had. It was a tough one, right in the crease, you'd never know it was there!

Polite, fast and honest service.

Just picked up my vehicle last week. I dropped it off on Monday and it was repaired and ready for pickup on Wednesday. This is an amazing body shop. The repair was done in a timely manner and came out excellent. I would highly recommend this place if u need any paint and body work. They do an amazing job. The customer service from all staff I encountered was excellent and all were very helpful with the process.

I can't say enough about this place. The gentleman Christian, I believe, was his name and staff, was very helpful, and went out of their way to push my estimate through during an extremely busy time so that I could attend my daughter's field trip. We thank you very much!

The entire staff was so helpful. I’ve never had to have a vehicle repaired before. The process was simplicity itself with American Auto Body. They worked directly with my insurance to get the job done! From the initial consultation to arranging my pick up and return of my rental vehicle. I literally could not be more pleased with the outcome. Thank you very much to everyone that assisted in getting my vehicle back to new.

They do great work and are in a great location. The staff is friendly. I look forward to my next visit

Very polite, professional, and , rapid response time for estimate.

Excellent work, very professional...

I was very happy with my experience with American Auto body I'll be honest they weren't the cheapest place but they did a damn good job look like my vehicle had never been in an accident at all I would take my vehicle back there any day highly recommended

Stellar service! I cannot say enough about how professional they are. They sat down with me, explained all details, worked with my insurance company, explained the timing and details of acquiring a rental car, kept to the timeline, and when I came to pick it up it looked amazing - clean, polished, vacuumed and the work was above and beyond requirements. I could not be happier with this experience. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Excellent auto body shop; professional, competent, courteous, timely delivery; my car was returned in mint condition, like new. Thank you Jason Mohler, owner, Vanessa, Cherish, and team for a great job!

Great people they do great work.

Excellent repair! Like it never happened.

I brought my car in for repairs following an accident. They completed the repairs sooner than expect and I looked brand new again. The customer service from all staff I encountered was excellent and all were very helpful with the process. I would definitely go back and recommend them to everyone.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about American Auto Body! The staff is incredible and professional. They are also very knowledgeable with dealing with auto insurance carriers who can be a complete headache. The body work on my car turned out phenomenal! This is the second time that I have had such a positive experience with this auto body shop.

Our car was rear ended and the responsible party had progressive insurance. They recommended American Auto Body, and I was happy with that, as I had already had a friend recommend them. Probably one of the best run business in Florida. The car was done in three days, and looks like new. Highly suggest using them.

I was rear ended on 41 earlier this month. The insurance company, for the guy who hit, me sent me to American Auto Body for the body work. Everyone was fantastic - from the ladies in the front office, to Christian who looked over my SUV with me, to the individuals who did the repair work. The job was completed in the time frame that I was quoted and the bumper looks perfect!! Highly recommend them!

Very nice bodywork ,color and gaps are right on.My 2014 BMW Looks very nice again. Thanks all at American Autobody!!

The bottom two reviews are bogus. I took in my 2004 Tundra after my dad back it into the garage, doing $1500 in damage to the truck. I had stopped by a couple of places to get prices, and I found that American had a good price and also came recommended by a neighbor who had their car repaired there. The paint job and body work was absolutely second to none and looked better than I could have imagined. Jason also took it upon himself to make the front bumper perfect which had bug damage from the love bugs in Florida. The truck came back looking new. When I sold the truck last year, the gentleman that bought it had retired from the auto body repair business. After looking over the truck and prior to buying it, he had commented that it was one of the best repairs that he had seen. The repair was quick, timely and well priced. Thank you guys...and I stress to you not to listen to a couple of complaining obnoxious snowbirds that you see below. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the work.

Just had my 4Runner worked on and I’m SO happy with the results! They even touched up other spots around the vehicle that weren’t in the quote — which ended up being less $$$ when completed and it was ready a day early! They also cleaned the interior as well as the exterior! The ladies in the office are such a pleasure to work with too. Thanks so much for doing such a great job, it looks and feels brand new again! Hands down a 10/10, would definitely recommend! :)

Very professional. Explained the entire process up front and no hidden costs.

Thank you all at American Auto Body. The damage on my car was repaired earlier then the original complete date to perfection!!!! Everyone was professional, I highly recommend them.

We've been here twice & both times they've gone over & beyond our expectations. Special thanks to Cherish for her efforts.

These guys are super. Great body work, pleasant, and reasonable. I highly recommend them!

A great experience at this shop. They did a wonderful job on my car and would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here. Thank you Jason !

Got a 2020 Honda Odessey bumper repaired there... Excellent job!

Great experience fast service customer service is great! Went through my insurance company, Progressive. Horn needed to be fixed, fixed, no questions. Now my headlight is on the blink. They are looking into that as well.!

I just picked my car up and to say that I was satisfied is an understatement. The ladies in the front are smart, courteous and extremely easy to work with. The work done is beautiful but they didn’t stop there. The paint and finish is phenomenal! They’re honest and you can tell that quality means something to them just as much as the customers satisfaction does. They were quick, clean, and informative throughout the process. Christian made sure to go over the work to be done and over the finished product. 10/10 recommend them for work again! I know I won’t go elsewhere. Thanks again for making what is usually an awful process pretty painless.

My vehicle looks amazing! What a difference from Caliber Collision. The attention to detail here at American Auto Body is spectacular. Thank you my truck looks brand new

Love this place. Brought my vehicle here for some auto body repair and they did AMAZING! Super friendly and they do great work. They also work with the rental car company so it's really convenient if you have to get a rental. Service was really fast - got my car back within a week. I recommend this place to anyone needing auto body repair.
